Okay...I'm tossing some things up in the air here about graduation.
Should I walk at commencement or not?
Here's my reasoning...and I would like to know what you all think...if not on here in an email.
Walk:
Maybe this can be a closing of a chapter.
Pride...this was hard and I did it!
Not:
I did this all online...only met Dr Stebbins (the director of the program) in real life
Do I really need recognition amongst all those people that I don't know?
Okay...what do you all think...and do you have any input?
I think you should walk. It was a HUGE accomplishment and you need the pics to prove you did it! I won't be graduating with my cohort at Simpson so I won't know any of the other grads but maybe one, and by golly I'm getting my spiffy robe and walking my booty across that stage to get my diploma! lol
ReplyDeleteI think it is up to you. But... If you are even considering it, then you should do it. You don't want to look back with regret.
